Easter Chamber Music Festival "allegro giovanissimo"
For the Academy of Music Marina organized three concerts at the Red Hall of the Old Townhall in Ljubljana between March 25th and April 2nd,presenting her chamber music class students and inviting some of her colleague professors to present their students. Each evening had a motto: 1. "Hommage to the three great Bs", 2. "Hommage a Piazzolla", 3. "From Brasil to Armenia".
The programming included a guest student from Vienna Academy of Music, Mennan Berveniku from Kosovo, and each concert featured a guest of honour: the ambassador of Kosovo Mr. N. Idrizi,, the vice-president of the Association "argentinian tango" in Ljubljana, Ms. M. Avbelj and the ambassador of Brasil, Mr. G. de Moura.
We heards works by Pessard, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Klughardt, Martinu, Hindemith, Piazzolla, Hermosa, Kuhlau, Schumann, Villa-Lobos, Pergolesi, Satie and Hatchaturian. The next "allegro giovanissimo" event is planned as Withsun Chamber Festival at the end of May.
