On November 17th Christlicher Kulturverein (The Slovenian Christian Cultural Society) invited Peggy Forma (Austria), Francka Šenk (Slovenia), soprano and Marina Horak (Slovenia), piano for a concert in their new concert hall, the "Tischlersaal".
Under the motto "Music connects neighboring countries" they performed a program of songs (lieder) and duets by composers who - one way or another - are connected to Slovenia and Carinthia or Austria: Ipavec, Škerjanc, Wolf, Eröd, Brahms, Rozman.
Pravljica (Fairy tale, on a poem by Marina Horak), a new work for 2 sopranos and piano by the young composer Anže Rozman from Ljubljana, was world premiered and received special attention and applause by the audience.
The program was repeated on Sunday, November 20th in Tainach, in a concert organized and hosted by the Educational Centre Sodalitas.
